WALT: Make a managing self DLO.
I found it hard to do the DLO.
I found it easy to do it in groups.
Next time i will inprove on writing more about managing self.
Kia ora! I am a year 7 student in room 5 at Ahipara School, in the Far North of New Zealand. My teacher is Ms Peters. This is where I share my learning. Please leave a positive, thoughtful, helpful comment.

WALT: Create our own maths word problems
This week we had to create our own maths word problems.
We were learning about...creating our own math word problems.
I found it easy to...figure out the problems.
I found it hard to...concentrate on my work.
I really enjoyed...creating my own math word problems.
Next time I need to...slow down and do my work properly.
I learned... how to make my own math word problems.
I found it easy to...write the problems.
I found it hard to...concentrate on my work.
I really enjoyed...learning something new.
Next time I need to... try to focus on my work.
WALT: Write about Health and Our Environment
I learned that Radon is an invisible and odorless gas. It comes from the soil, rock, and water under homes and other buildings. It moves up through the ground to the air above and into a home through cracks and other holes in buildings. Radon can be found all over the U.S. I also learned that Radon gas decays into radioactive particles that can get trapped in the lungs. This can damage the lungs. Breathing radon gas for a long time can cause lung cancer.
We were learning about...Health and Our Environment.
I found it easy to...research about the Environment.
I found it hard to...concentraet on my work.
I really enjoyed...learning something new.
Next time I need to...complete my work on time.
WALT: Solve multi-choice math problems
For this task, we had to do 6 Multichoice math problems a day. Remember use what you know to solve the problems. When working through these problems try to see how many different strategies you use to can solve them. This will add more challenge and develop your mathematical thinking. Looking forward to hearing all the different strategies you used to work these out. For each word problem, write down the Equation (E), Working out (W.0), and the Answer (A). The problems may involve adding, subtracting, multiplying, or dividing. I liked doing this because we could try new things that we have never done and I think that's interesting.
I found it hard to...consittraet on my work.
I really enjoyed...learning something new.
Next time I need to...try complete my work.
W.A.L.T Perform a new Haka. 29/10/20

we left to go to our Kapa Haka class also the boys split up with the girls and the boys went into and then at
1:15 we all met back up with each other inside of the Kapa Haka class.
Walt: create our own Math word problems.
For this task, we had to do 2 math word problems each day during the week.
WALT: drop cover hold practice what to do in earthquake happens.
This morning we learned about what we do when an earthquake happens so first
when an earthquake happens you drop cover and hold today we and we stay there
for 1 minute and then we had to walk out the front of the field and the teachers started
counting to see how many students there were and then the teachers counted all the students
there were and we started walking back to class so I'm just gonna say what I learned about.
I learned that you don't panic thru an earthquake.
And you also don't be silly.
And drop cover and hold.
